Awesome Cake Photos from our Wedding

Our amazing "Bollywood Sunset" style cake was lovingly created by Elena from Oh My Ganache! Bakery in Collierville, TN. This lady is the most incredible woman on the face of the planet: first of all, she has an awesome Russian accent, secondly she is amazing talented (she handmade those roses on our cake completely out of sugar-yes, they were edible!), and last but not least, she has the best personality.

We were so stunned by the quality of our cakes, and they were for a great price too! Everyone loved the groom's cake. It was strawberry flavored and covered in chocolate ganache- even the chess pieces were made of real solid chocolate!

I made the adorable chibi toppers of me and Yoshi on top. Our wedding was perfect!

Happy New Year!

It's the year of the dragon! Along with the year of presidential elections!

In honor of such, I just couldn't help myself to create this little (hopefully) meme. I thought it was funny; not only because people constantly mis-pronounce Katamari Damacy as Katamari Democracy, but also because it is a hilarious thought to think of the little prince rolling up the whole world and its capitals.

Okay, maybe that wasn't hilarious, but more horrifying. Hey, at least we will live on as stars!

Backwards updates! And a Knitty Knip :3

I call this post a backwards update because I am posting about a small little something, while neglecting to post about a very big something that already happened.

The very big something is: *drumroll please* I GOT MARRIED!!!

But that's been put all over facebook so I don't feel like making a blog post on it! Tee hee! Sorry I know I'm lazy.

Rather, there is another event that is taking precedence in my life right now: I just knit my first "thing"!

Yes that's right, I knit a little catnip-filled mouse for my familiar Ambrosia. It's her new best friend- she can't stop playing with it!!
